Access the Commport VAN Network from wherever you do business

Portal Services allows you to single-handedly add and manage new trading relationships in a convenient online tool. This self-serve tool is for clients using the Commport Value Added Network (VAN), and lets you update document exchange information when and where you have time to do so, as long as you can get connected to the Internet.

In order to use Portal Services all you need is:

  • Your EDI ISA ID – Commport can provide you with your ISA if you don’t have it handy
  • Your EDI ISA Qualifier – This accompanies the ISA ID
  • Your Commport Mailbox – It usually matches your ISA
  • Your Trading Partner’s ISA ID – This is used to identify the unique relationship between you and your partner
  • Your EDI ISA Qualifer – This accompanies the ISA ID
  • Your Trading Partner’s VAN – This is used to generate the receipt and delivery of your documents
     

Once you have set up the trading partner relationship in Portal Services, you can immediately start exchanging documents through the Commport VAN.

You can also view your network activity through the main RouterLiNK tool, where you can perform a variety of searches for up-to-date information at all times.
