CGS Fuse for Sage AccPac ERP

Aligning ERP data and the GDSN data pool

As a part of offering comprehensive Global Data Synchronization (GDS) services, Commport Communications joined the Sage Business Solutions (SBS) community as a Silver Development Partner for Sage Accpac ERP, and immediately began developing CGS Fuse.

CGS Fuse is a module for Sage Accpac that offers total and direct integration between the Sage Accpac ERP item master file and Commport’s GDSN-certified data pool, CGS Datapool Services. This innovative tool extends the reach of Sage Accpac by improving internal business processes and communication with external trading partners. This enables seamless and integrated data synchronization capabilities between users of Sage Accpac ERP and GDSN retailers such as Wal-Mart, Wegman’s and Acklands-Grainger.

Developed with the Sage Accpac user experience in mind, CGS Fuse is an installed, behind-the-firewall module that can be accessed from within Sage Accpac. The CGS Fuse interface has been designed to create a seamless and comfortable user experience through the use of familiar business functions and screen layouts and the CGS GDSN data pool.  

Accessing information already contained within Sage Accpac, CGS Fuse presents each item in its streamlined, easy to use interface; makes it available for review; and provides the ability to supplement the item information, preparing it for communication across the Global Data Synchronization Network.  Additionally, all of the data synchronization and master data management tasks are performed from within the CGS Fuse module including high-level snapshots and detailed functional reporting.

With built in automation and integration with Commport’s GDSN-Certified CGS Datapool Services, CGS Fuse for Sage Accpac becomes the gateway to a complete, end-to-end global data synchronization solution.
